A Father's Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening fathers, supporting families, and helping young men build stable, responsible futures. Serving communities across South Carolina, A Father’s Place provides fatherhood programs, mentoring, workforce and career readiness support, healthy relationship education, and youth prevention initiatives designed to break cycles of poverty, absenteeism, and instability.

Through evidence-informed programs such as Ready4Life / Reality Check, A Father’s Place equips teens and young adults with practical life skills focused on education, career planning, financial literacy, healthy decision-making, and the realities and responsibilities of parenthood.

The organization works to improve outcomes for fathers, children, and families by helping participants:
