The Ypsilanti Senior Center's mission is "Creating great experiences for older adults in a welcoming environment that encourages learning, active engagement, fitness and healthy aging."  We provide our activities free of charge to anyone in the area.  These activities include exercise, health education, social activities, art enrichment workshops and intergenerational activities.  The center provides a friendly atmosphere for older adults to gather.  The building belongs to the city, which allows us to operate the center with a small stipend.  The staff salaries, actives and upkeep of the center are provided by grants and donations.
