Western Montana Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation Inc, started in September of 2008, officially becoming a 501C3 in January of 2009, the first established horse rescue in the Bitterroot Valley. We have helped over 350 horses, donkeys, mules and miniatures, as well as offering temporary assistance to owners in need of hay, supplements, farrier and euthanasia.  We host free educational events, given by local veterinarians, farriers, equine body workers etc.  We always try offer assistance to those who have nowhere else to go.
