The Wellington City Mission has been supporting people and families in the Wellington region for 120 years. We offer a broad range of services, including transitional housing, food support through our Social Supermarket and Contribute What You Can café, and an integrated network of support services based at Whakamaru in Mount Cook, a purpose-built community hub. Our vision is to empower and transform individuals and communities to experience fullness of life.

Our services are accessible to everyone, regardless of religious belief, age, gender, ethnicity, or social background. We treat all people with dignity, respect, and without judgment. Embracing diversity and inclusion is central to our mission, extending from the communities we serve to our staff and volunteers.
