Our long-term relationship with Jamaica focuses on supporting communities, schools, youth groups, and artists, while fostering reciprocal learning and leadership in global citizenship, well-being, ecology, and curricula.

Urban Circle works with partners in Wales and Jamaica (DARPL Community of Practice and Grange Town Boys and Girls club, Caribbean Heritage Cymru, Rastafari Indigenous Village, Schools & more). 

The TAITH Programme supports our International educational and cultural exchange programme through: 

• People with diverse heritages from Wales and Jamaica to co-examine ecological perspectives. 

• ⁠This exchange provides life-changing opportunities for young people and leaders building on the ongoing work in Wales, Jamaica and other countries incorporating principles of the Future Generations Act (2015), ARWAP for 2030 and in strengthening and considering UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003).

OUR MISSION during 2026: 

Supports our International partners in Jamaica in their work to rebuild, emphasising good environmental practices and alternative energy sustainability. 

Helps address the immediate and medium-term crisis of food (dry goods). 

Extends our established long-term international education knowledge exchange partnerships through ‘DARPL Schools’ in Jamaica and Wales. 

Sustainable access to clean water, through technology that lets communities pump and filter river water, is a long-term necessity, not just a hurricane-related concern.

Your donations go directly to providing vital relief and support in Jamaica. We are currently working in parishes: St James, Hanover & Westmoreland. Your contributions will help make a real positive difference.
