The Women’s Community provides services for adults (all genders, including men) and/or their children who are the victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Our services include a 24-hour crisis line, counseling, advocacy, food pantry, and a life-saving shelter. Services are available in English, Hmong and Spanish. It is our philosophy to empower the individuals we are in contact with.
All TWC services are funded by local, state and federal grants, the generous support of numerous individuals and corporations, the United Way of Marathon County, and fundraising activities. All services are free to victims because no victim should ever have to pay for the help that they need.
Our Mission is to provide specialized services and resources to people in central Wisconsin affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Our goal is to help individuals and families attain greater emotional and economic self-sufficiency.
Our Vision as a model organization that empowers communities and individuals who have survived the effects of violence and oppression through the provision of quality programming, advocacy and education. The ultimate goal is to reduce/eradicate violence.
