The Rainbow House (part of The Rev. Dr Ian Mavor Foundation)
THE RAINBOW HOUSE provides grief education and support for children aged 7 to 11, experiencing loss from a death, illness or family seprations and life changes. We are the children’s educational division of the Rev. Dr Ian Mavor Foundation. We believe education + well-being + community = healing. Hurting families are currently supported with free local community grief programs plus free online grief resources. New outreach initiatives include carepacks for sick kids in hospitals, a garden sacnctuarty for sick kids and thier families and outreaches featuring grief education for older children.
Through your generous investment, The Rainbow House can provide education and support to children affected by grief and loss. Without this, what might have resulted in downward emotional spirals and long-term negative consequences is now replaced with healing and hope. Providing a child the opportunity to grow through their grief and have a brighter future.
