Kids in Need Waikato (KINW) is a community charity supporting children and families across the Waikato and Rotorua regions who are being raised by someone other than their biological parent/s. We provide practical help for children by providing personalised, seasonal care packs, ensuring they have access to the essential items they need, improving their sense of dignity and belonging.

Through community donations, partnerships, and volunteers, KINW supplies clothing, shoes, toiletries, stationery, toys, and bedding, helping to reduce financial stress for caregivers, who step up to raise these children. Our goal is to remove barriers that prevent children from participating fully in school and community life, and ensure every child feels valued.
