At The Family Haven, we’re here for families who are facing incredibly tough times such as poverty, poor mental health, domestic violence, or the trauma of fleeing their home country. Many of the families we support are living in temporary accommodation with little or no support network. We offer a welcoming space where children are cared for in a registered nursery, and parents can access one-to-one support, parenting classes, healthy eating workshops, and advice on things like benefits and housing.

It’s not just about practical help, it’s about listening, rebuilding confidence, and helping families feel human again. We use a trauma-informed, adaptive approach because we believe every family deserves the chance to heal and thrive.
