The station is volunteer-driven and listener-supported, which means your generosity makes everything we do possible.CHIRP is 100% independent and commercial-free, staffed by more than 250 volunteers and just one paid staff member. Our passionate, curious DJs are always live and local from our North Center studios, curating a wide mix of local, independent, lesser-heard, and just plain good music from a wide array of genres and eras.At CHIRP, we believe in radio's traditional strengths: its live, local nature, its immediacy and intimacy, and its ability to provide a sense of connection for its listeners and community.
