Sunflower House advances health and social welfare, and provides benevolent relief to people who are living with mental illness in the City of Wagga Wagga and its surrounds.

Our services help to prevent mental relapse and hospitalisation, by providing vital psychosocial support to members of the community who are living with mental illness.

Our activity schedule is from Monday to Friday which includes the following: life development, cooking, creative art, garden projects, gentle exercise, healthy eating, menu planning, mindfulness, karaoke, trivia, bingo and card games. Lunch is offered on a daily basis and we organise a bus excursion once a week.

One-to-one sessions with our support workers are available to our members, assisting them with areas such as home organisation and cleaning, cooking, shopping and transport to medical appointments.

Mental illness can be very isolating, particularly for those who do not have a support network. Our services help our members with their mental health journeys through encouragement and reassurance.
