Summit Art's mission as a 501c3 nonprofit is to encourage and promote artists and visual art in Lee's Summit and the surrounding communities.  Our vision is to provide opportunities for networking, education, exhibitions, events, and recognition for our members and the community.  Summit Art believes that a diversity of individual expression makes for better art, a better community, and for Summit Art, a better organization.

Our Juried Artist Members are from all over the KC metro area and excel in multiple visual art mediums such as acrylic/oil, drawing, digital art, fiber art, glass art, photography, pottery, sculpture and watercolor.  At Summit Art, we focus on three main goals:  help create, show and sell art, mentor artists in their professional development, and support art education for all.  Every donation to Summit Art supports our efforts to increase public engagement in the visual arts and to support those making art.
