Stokey Cats and Dogs is a small, registered, 100% volunteer-run animal rescue charity with a strict no-kill policy.

We are dedicated to helping some of the most vulnerable animals in our community, including injured, elderly, sick and disabled cats, pregnant mothers, and abandoned kittens.

Our goal is to find loving, safe, forever homes for every cat in our care. However, we know that not every cat can be rehomed. Those who are too elderly, seriously ill or have complex medical needs remain in our long-term foster care, where they receive the love, comfort, veterinary treatment and dignity they deserve, right up to their very last breath.

We also help cats whose owners can no longer care for them due to illness or bereavement. Although cats make up the majority of our rescues, we also help rehome unwanted dogs, rabbits and birds whenever possible.

Every cat in our care receives essential veterinary treatment, including neutering, microchipping, flea and worm treatments, and vaccinations as appropriate.

We are entirely volunteer-run, with no paid staff, and receive no regular government funding.

Our work depends on the kindness and generosity of people who believe, as we do, that every animal deserves a chance.

From routine veterinary care to emergency treatments, dental procedures, X-rays, heart scans and life-saving surgeries, the costs can be overwhelming for a small charity like ours.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference. It helps us rescue, treat, feed and care for animals who might otherwise have nowhere to turn.

Thank you for supporting Stokey Cats and Dogs and helping us give vulnerable animals the second chances they deserve. ❤️🐾
