STEMPOINT is an educational charity with an aim to inspire young people and cultivate their passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths by enhancing their learning, providing hands-on experiences and sparking a deeper interest in these vital subjects. The STEM sector is the fastest growing sector so it offers young people exciting job prospects for the future. A key part of our work is to showcase all the different types of jobs available within STEM and to encourage youngsters that STEM is for everyone! We engage and inspire children and young people through delivering workshops, events and opportunities to thousands of students across the East of England region - giving them the chance to experience STEM topics in an exciting and creative way which enhance the national curriculum but wouldn't be possible for schools to deliver day to day. As a charity, we want to ensure all young people have opportunities regardless of their gender, whether a parent has been to university or their financial situation, so some of our projects specifically focus on engaging with groups who are under-represented in the STEM sector. We have been operating for over 40 years in the region so are well-known and well-trusted by hundreds of schools, universities and businesses to connect the world of education to the world of STEM.
