Horwich Food is a local food bank based in Bolton that is dedicated to helping people and families with food and toiletries. We also donate food to local charities, community groups, and animal charities.

Our team is composed entirely of volunteers, we receive funding through donations from the public and local businesses. We are a passionate team of five staff members committed to making a difference in the community.

Our manager, Councillor Peter Wright, set up the first foodbank called the Over 50's Foodbank in 2017, due to the increase in need post Pandemic, the name was changed to Horwich Foodshare, and we now help anyone in need of our services.
