Springfield was established in 1915; We provide safe therapeutic environment's for people; from all over the UK; to recover from the trauma they have experienced; our refuge provides safe accommodation for women and children who have fled domestic abuse; and our recently opened male accommodation service provides the same for male victims of domestic abuse; we also deliver a community service which provides tailored support to women; men and children in the South Lakeland area of Cumbria who have experienced or are still experiencing domestic abuse. We have a holistic person centred approach that includes one-to-one support; a trauma-informed group recovery programs and a range of group activities
