Second Mile Outreach is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting people where they are during life’s most difficult moments. We provide food, clothing, household essentials, furniture, and hope to families facing hardship and veterans transitioning into stable housing throughout the Greater Cleveland community.

Last year alone, we provided more than 140,000 meals, helped over 4,000 veterans, and ensured more than 720 children experienced the joy of Christmas. Every month, more than 1,200 individuals turn to us for help, and every person is welcomed with dignity, compassion, and respect.

What makes Second Mile Outreach unique is that we don’t just meet immediate needs—we help people rebuild their lives. Whether it’s furnishing an empty apartment for a veteran who finally has a place to call home, providing groceries to a family deciding between paying rent or buying food, or giving children school supplies so they can start the year with confidence, we believe that small acts of kindness can create lasting change.

Our mission is simple: to walk the second mile for those who need someone to believe in them when life feels overwhelming.
