Here is Saving Dobermankind we rescue doberman's from high kill shelters in CO, TX and NM. We also take in owner surrenders when we have foster homes available. We are a 501c3 here in Colorado and the only breed specific rescue in the state. All fosters are breed knowledgeable and we carry the same love for a misunderstood breed. We do vigorous background checks before placing any of our available dogs in a home. Throughout the year we do take in Heartworm Positive dogs and keep them until treatment is complete in our care and we do take in special needs dogs as well. Those dogs can be financial draining which is why we need everyone's help!
