The Sauk Valley Foodbank is the main foodbank for the Sauk Valley Area. We service 34 full time food pantries, 18 part time pantries and 9 mobile deliveries in the Sauk Valley region. We touch seven counties with our reach.

Our mission is help eliminate food insecurity in the Sauk Valley.

The Sauk Valley Foodbank was started in 2001 when three local factories were closed at one time, leaving thousands of families without knowing where their next meal was going to come from. The foodbank started with two pallets of food and has grown to pushing out almost 3 million pounds of food out our door at the end of our fiscal year 2025.
