To advocate, educate, and assist Navajo families and their pets, as well as rescue and foster stray dogs / cats on the Navajo Nation reservation. We are a nonprofit Navajo-led rescue located on the Navajo Nation reservation in Shiprock, NM. We rescue and foster puppies, kittens, cats and dogs that are abandoned or surrendered. Our rescue is one of three nonprofit rescue organizations that is based on the Navajo reservation, and able to take in dogs/cats quickly as we are local. In addition to rescue, we provide transportation to spay and neuter appointments for family pets. We also have a dog house program where we build dog houses for unsheltered dogs.
