Raising Hope is a nonprofit 501c3 foster care closet located in Erie, Illinois. We serve foster & adoptive families in 6 counties in Illinois including Whiteside, Lee, Ogle, Jo Daviess, Carroll & Rock Island Counties.  We provide emergency overnight bags, toiletries, diapering supplies, clothing and more at no cost to our area families. Additionally, we host events for foster & adoptive families including our yearly summer carnival and Christmas Angel Tree.We also help area foster agencies when they need additional supplies and do occasional giveaways to say “thanks” to those who do so much to provide children with a safe, loving home.  We began operation in 2021, became a 501c3 in 2022 and have expanded our outreach each year! We added our 6th county this year! We have served well over 100 area children yearly and have spent quite a bit of money to meet ongoing needs from diapers, to expensive needed formula, to beds and more! Every dollar helps us in our mission to “RAISE HOPE ONE CHILD AT A TIME.”
