Rainbow Cumberland is a grassroots organisation committed to advancing LGBTQ+ acceptance and safety for locals of the Cumberland Local Government Area in Western Sydney. The unique production of homophobia and transphobia in Western Sydney requires a corresponding intervention that is culturally-informed. Rainbow Cumberland is one of the only LGBTQ+ organisations based in Western Sydney that can appropriately engage with homophobia in this unique context.
