The Queensland Lost Pet Register Inc (QLPR) is a Facebook based register of lost and found pets in Queensland run through it's main page and 23 regional pages. This is a free service, provided entirely by dedicated and passionate volunteers with a common goal to get pets home safe. In addition to pets reported directly to QLPR, we also re-post pets that have been published on Gumtree, Council pound websites, animal shelter websites, other social media sources and the RSPCA’s website. This makes the QLPR an effective and valuable resource to help reunite lost pets with their owners. QLPR is currently fundraising to support its Pound Release Assistance Program, which offers owners that cannot afford Pound release fees an opportunity to receive a short term loan to get their loved furbabies home safe and sound. This offers hope to some that have no choice but to surrender their loved furbabies.
