The Queen of Hearts Community Foundation Supports and protects survivors, inclusive of men, women and children of child sexual abuse, Domestic Violence and Victims of Crime. We provide Counselling, Case Management, Domestic Violence & Childhood sexual abuse Services, FREE. This sharp turn in her career came about as a result of a family crisis in 2012, when it was discovered that her children had been sexually abused. This motivated Michele to establish the Queen of Hearts Community Foundation and she has made a lifelong commitment to support survivors of child sexual abuse and domestic violence. The Queen of Hearts Community Foundation's priority is to see clients within 7-10 days, they can still remain on waiting lists etc, but to provide that necessary front line service FREE, is vital to client's mental health, financial situation and can sometimes be a decider for a client to feel defeated and unsupported and return to the home of violence. The Foundation is non government funded and relies soley on fundraising and donations from the community. Without the generosity of the Community, many victims will wait up to 10 weeks for vital intervention support and services.
