Positive Impact for Life is a nonprofit organization committed to giving back to the community. Our mission is to transform lives by providing practical tools through education and effective solutions for everyday living. Established in 2018, we strive to uplift children and families facing educational inequality, trauma, and the loss of hope. Our services are delivered through two main pillars: Youth Development and Community Wellness, as we firmly believe in the power of personal healing and family empowerment. 

Our first pillar, Youth Development, offers academic support at six tutoring sites to at-risk students through afterschool tutoring, mentoring services, and youth leadership training. 

Our second pillar, Community Wellness, connects individuals with licensed therapists through complimentary self-care workshops. These workshops tackle essential topics such as anxiety and depression, grief and loss, suicide prevention, and trauma management. We foster a safe environment for discussing self-care needs, alleviating the burden of navigating complex systems. Additionally, our Community Wellness events link participants to local resources, providing education and support to underserved communities. 

In the fall of 2022, we proudly launched our Family Empowerment program at no cost to participants. By integrating our two pillars of service, we developed a program that employs a family-centered approach focused on fostering educational achievement and community wellness, ensuring that both students and their families can reach their fullest potential. Moreover, we have expanded our educational initiatives to include a summer reading program designed to help bridge and maintain reading skills throughout the summer months.
