We are a 501c3 nonprofit giving refuge for life to abused, handicapped and senior dogs who no one will adopt. We consider ourselves a dog hospice. The dogs we cannot accept because they are adoptable, we offer Re-Homing, a free service. We are two seniors who've been doing this for 14 years. We purchased a 10 acre farm in 2014 to expand and initially started with 25 dogs. As dogs passed away we added more. Currently we have 11 dogs living with us ranging from 5 lbs to 117 and from 3 years old to 15. They all live with us as family. They have no kennels, crates or kennels. We do all of this solely on social security. We have no other income. The inflation of veterinary bills, food, utilities, gas and everything that breaks has left us struggling to survive daily. Our social security has not kept up with the rapidly rising costs of living. We love all of our rescues as our children. We will forego our own needs, food, medical and repairs to give our rescues their best life. It takes a village and we are desperately seeking help.
