We are a grassroots rescue caring for and managing a large population of community cats in East Orange, New Jersey. With no municipal animal shelters or rescues in our area — including nearby Irvington — we’ve stepped in to fill a critical gap.

Our efforts include:

• TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) to humanely manage colony populations
• Rescuing strays, including pregnant moms and kittens
• Providing emergency vet care for sick and injured cats
•  Setting up shelters for colony cats to keep them safe through all seasons
•  Feeding over 100 cats across colonies and fosters
• Supporting local pet owners trying to keep their animals
• Ongoing community outreach and education

We are completely volunteer-run and receive calls for help every day — more than we can often handle. The need is urgent and growing.
