Pet Savers
About us
Our mission is to reduce the high euthanasia rate of healthy animals in and around Gloucester County NJ by keeping pets out of the shelter and in their homes and by advocating for shelter adoptions. We do this through effective, collaborative partnerships in our community and the structured delivery of core programs such as food support, TNVR and Spay/Neuter, behavioral support and humane education and advocacy.
Since 2016 we have provided over 9500 pounds and 600 cases of pet food to families in need through collaboration with the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries; helped spay or neuter and vaccinate over 700 animals and through recent collaborations with rescue partners helped re-home over 65 pets.
Finally we provide humane education to local school and community groups to help further our mission of shelter intake reduction, resulting in lower euthanasia rates in our communities.
