PAWSAFE is a volunteer-based animal welfare network dedicated to assisting roaming, lost, injured and vulnerable animals across Victoria. We work closely with communities, registered rescues, veterinarians and local councils to safely contain animals, reunite pets with their owners, and support animals in crisis.

Our team coordinates rapid-response volunteer networks, tracking and containment for dogs in survival mode, community education, transport assistance, welfare checks, and fundraising for essential rescue equipment. We also provide emergency assistance to community members experiencing financial hardship by helping with pet food and basic necessities, ensuring animals can remain safely with their families whenever possible.
