The Paramount Education Partnership (PEP) is dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents in Paramount by fostering a community-wide "culture of education." PEP aims to instill in every child the expectation that their future includes college, thereby setting a foundation for lifelong learning and success.PEP is committed to making a generational shift in attitudes toward education, addressing longstanding educational gaps in Paramount. Given that the city's demographics consist of approximately 82% Latinos and 9% African Americans, PEP programs are tailored to meet the needs of these communities, focusing on:

• Closing the Educational Gap: By creating learning opportunities, PEP aims to eliminate educational disparities and uplift the Paramount community. PEP provides after school centers where education is a priority.
• Support Systems: The programs offer educational opportunities and a robust support system. PEP has provided 1.8 million in scholarships through the years to students pursuing further education.
