Panther Ridge Conservation Center is dedicated to conservation through education. Our Center is home to over 24 big cats representing ten different species - five of which are classified as endangered. We strive to engage the public with our feline ambassadors so that they may become aware of the plight of big cats in the wild. Once a cat is accepted by Panther Ridge, it will never again be in need of a home, nor at risk of mishandling or neglect. Our animals are treated with kindness, respect and gratitude for their part in conservation.

Panther Ridge is an Accredited Facility with the Zoological Association of America and the Feline Conservation Foundation. We are one of the very few private facilities to be accepted by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Species Survival Plan ( SSP ) for rare clouded  leopards. The SSP oversees the captive population management of select species and enhances the conservation of these species in the wild. We are proud to be a part of this important program. It is a safety net against extinction.
