Otautahi Women's Refuge - Te Whare Hauora provides a safe place for wahine and tamariki affected by domestic violence. Te Whare Hauora offers Ministry of Justice approved programmes; non mandated programmes and other culturally appropriate services and events, including safe housing and other supports. Due to the current circumstances, there is a high increase in the number of domestic violence incidents happening across Canterbury, resulting in a higher than usual level of support needed for our affected whanau.
