Operation Green Team Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes while promoting beautification, litter prevention, and environmental consciousness throughout the City of Huntsville, Alabama. We have made enormous environmental and sustainable impacts while making Huntsville one of the cleanest and greenest cities in America.  A significant part of our mission includes providing programs and education supporting litter preventions, beautification, recycling, energy and water conservation, and environmental land stewardship.  Our devotion to serving the Huntsville community will allow us to successfully continue our programs for environmental education, neighborhood cleanups, energy upgrades, recycling, and tree plantings that directly impacts the quality of life here. Some of our signature programs include: The Green Ambassador Program, Waste to Energy Tours, Earth Day Celebration, Yoga By the River, Neighborhood Cleanup Days, Tree Planting Events, Beautification Awards Program, Great American Cleanup, Hays Nature Preserve, and Goldsmith Schiffman Sanctuary.
