Military Service Members, Veterans, Emergency Responders, and their families are experiencing unprecedented levels of stress, trauma, and isolation. This has negative long-term effects on them individually and collectively and leads to feeling disconnected from their families and communities. When left unaddressed, this creates destructive, long-term consequences for not only their mental health and well-being, but because they are our Warriors and Protectors, this also negatively impacts our country and our communities.We do not win a fight alone, and we do not heal alone. Operation Equine facilitates unique and powerful therapeutic experiences with horses to bring our Warriors, Protectors, and their families out of isolation and into an environment that utilizes evidence-based equine therapy services provided by culturally competent, trained mental health counselors and seasoned horse professionals to help them address these challenges to live healthier, happier lives.  We believe when people understand themselves fully, they are more likely to thrive at home, at work, and in their communities. And working with the horses encourages a different way of being, an opportunity to heal in a non-medical, non-judgmental, non-traditional environment.
