Our mission is to offer veterans, first responders and their family members a natural oasis of peace and serenity to relax the mind, rejuvenate the body and lift the spirit. Old Man River Nature Retreat is dedicated to learning and sharing time honored practices and holistic approaches to help those who have experienced trauma resulting in PTSD or TBI. Our hope is to assist our guests in making small changes in their daily lives to help heal, find inner peace and help alleviate the crisis of suicide amongst this group. 

We also offer our services to our community and share our nature retreat for single day visits or overnight.  We have hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, and many peaceful areas to just rest by the lake or waterfall. We also provide alternative services to our guests; relaxation methods, organic gardening, and other methods to help with reconnection and relaxation.
