At F.A.R.M., our mission is to create a tangible impact on the lives of both our nation’s veterans and the agricultural communities that sustain us. We foster holistic well-being, community engagement, and environmental sustainability by reconnecting veterans to the land through regenerative agriculture. Through hands-on agricultural training, we provide veterans with not only practical skills but also renewed purpose and a pathway to reintegration.

Our unique approach, known as “dirt therapy,” harnesses the therapeutic benefits of working with the soil - offering healing through connection with the earth while building meaningful careers in food production. By bridging the gap between veterans seeking meaningful employment and farmers advancing sustainable practices, F.A.R.M. contributes directly to the long-term resilience and food security of our communities.

Founded in 2014, F.A.R.M. has hosted more than 700 participants through our in-person and virtual educational workshops to expand access to regenerative agriculture training for both veterans and civilians along with providing alternative opportunities for holistic healing through trauma sensitive yoga and mindful mediation to name a few. As a proud mentor organization for Texas A&M’s Battle Ground to Breaking Ground program, we provide guidance to veterans pursuing farm ownership and business development.

Beyond the field, F.A.R.M. integrates holistic healing and community service through partnerships with Warrior Spirit Project for trauma-sensitive yoga, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance for outdoor activities, and Carry the Load to honor our fallen every Memorial May.

At the heart of F.A.R.M. lies collaboration and shared purpose. By cultivating spaces for veteran farmers and ranchers to connect, mentor one another, and grow together, we are helping to rebuild lives while strengthening America’s food system, one farm at a time.
