The ocean state homeless resource was built on a simple belief, every human being deserves to be seen treated with dignity and given a real opportunity to begin again. Our work is rooted in compassion in Community Lived Experience Committee. We understand that homelessness is really one problem with one solution. Behind every person experience homelessness is a human story often involving trauma poverty disability domestic violence addiction job loss and family separation or simply a series of circumstances that became impossible to overcome alone. This is why our approach has always been personal. We have worked directly alongside people experiencing homelessness and housing instability helping connect individuals and family with food hygiene shelter housing resources transportation navigation recovery support and other services but sometimes the most important thing we provide is something that cannot be measured on a spreadsheet someone who refuses to give up on them that’s what we do our community has come together to buy meals supply showers emergency assistance and support for people in need our biggest need those to be able to buy property to build a tiny home harmonic village. Oceanside Homeless Resource is a deeply informed by lived experience we know that circumstances can change quickly and that homelessness does not just to find a persons worth potential or future  we believe people do not need judgment when they are struggling they need pathways relationships at 500,000 investment will allow us to drain bigger and serve more people and buy property and build our harmonic tiny home village. We need to start somewhere so we can show people how it’s done. We believe in what we do. We want to help people come home to housing to community to help and ultimately to themselves. Because every person matters every story matters and sometimes change in entire life against Blunk community member deciding to sit down with somebody and just talk to them we see you we believe in you and we are not going to give up on you. At this time we had to close down our Oceanside Homeless Resource page because we have run out of funding. However you can find things on our live on the ground Facebook page and I will leave that here. We do as much as we can. We just need money to come in so we can get back on track. We did race over $1 million during Covid and we open the shelter and shared housing and we also move people into apartments and done so well but the last few years have been very hard so we would love love more than anything for you to choose us so we can get back on track and build what’s needed so that we can build even more communities of love and hope.
