The Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) was founded in 2011 to counter biased news media through original reporting that values the FACTS over propaganda. We tell stories overlooked or intentionally ignored by major media outlets while advancing the principles of freedom.

Our content is free to legitimate news entities, similar to a news-wire service like AP or Reuters. Through our distribution network, our stories reach millions of people each month.

We advance our mission through five key programs that support themes of limited government, economic liberty and constitutional integrity to a nationwide audience:

• Producing a new generation of ethical reporters through our flagship journalism fellowship program, the American Journalism Institute (www.americanjournalisminstitute.org). This is the only program of its kind in America.

• Our Investigative Group performs long-term deep dive investigative reporting from which other, for-profit news outlets are financially disincentivized. We expose the waste, fraud and abuse of corrupt players.

• Our Policy Reporting program challenges the pro-government narrative promoted by major media. We are one of the few media champions of free market principles. 

• Our Video News Team program delivers formal and informal remarks from pundits, reporters and elected officials, as well as breaking news via social media and in-depth interviews with key policy players.

• Our commentary journalism program, Big Tent Ideas, elevates opinion journalism by expanding the reach and impact of moderate, libertarian and center-right thinkers.

Today, the Daily Caller News Foundation's distribution network contains more than 250 news outlets with a total audience size exceeding 510 million readers. Our stories can be found in 97 countries around the world and translated into 21 languages.
