Northampton Guardians
About us
We operate as a safeguarding service working in partnership with the Office of Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (OPFCC) to ensure the safety of vulnerable men and women during the night-time economy in Northampton town centre.
We originally launched in 2016 and later expanded in 2021 by collaborating with the OPFCC, introducing the SNO van. Since December 2021 we have aided a multitude of vulnerable men and women, making the night-time economy a safer place.
We are on call every Friday and Saturday between the hours of 2200-0600 (inc public holidays and bank holidays).
To ensure the safety of men and women we work in accordance with the India Protocol Safeguarding initiative, established by Terry Howard, founder of the Cheltenham Guardians, following the murder of India Chipchase in 2016. All our work is in memory of India to guarantee everything we do is to prevent incidents such as this from recurring. We add Feature Views for every £ you pay.
