My name is Dana Jewel Harris, veteran, farm consultant, Executive Director of The NEXT Steps Youth Entrepreneur Program and developer of the Fresh Bites Mobile App. I'm looking for support to finish the last stages of development for my app.I created Fresh Bites to support every new and existing rancher, farmer, gardener, landowner, inventor, innovator, and producer in food deserts so they can connect their projects to a local network of buyers and sellers. This provides opportunities for early buy-in, investment and resource support through the new business development process. It also creates an operations, production and supply chain management system that holds new producers accountable for their promise to contribute products and services that can sustain the local economy. Through agritourism, Fresh Bites can help convert food desert communities into thriving creative economies.I'm looking for giving partners to invest $150k so I can get the last phases of app development finished. For now, I'm building and paying for it through sales generated through my business consulting services, in-person training, online courses and sales from my card game – all out of pocket. I am currently applying for grants and soliciting for private donations and sponsorships.
