The Near Southside Employment Coalition (NSEC) has provided employment and training services to unemployed and underserved individuals ages 16 and older in the City of St. Louis for 43 years. NSEC currently offers a range of job placement and training services, including pre-employment skills training, career assessments and planning, resume development, online job search assistance, computer skills training, and direct job placement. Additionally, we help clients with transportation by providing bus tickets for travel to interviews and work. We also collaborate with community partners to refer clients to services we do not offer, such as childcare and a food pantry.
