The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) is a non-profit organization creating opportunities for people to experience and learn about the environment in ways that improve their lives and the health of the planet. We focus on three areas: K-12 education, environmental health, and conservation. Our programs get people out to public lands for cleanups and community activities, help healthcare providers and families address environmental health issues, like pediatric asthma, and provide resources and training to educators to use the outdoors to teach STEM. NEEF also offers a variety of grants and awards to help organizations engage their communities to improve the environment, increase diversity, and expand their work locally.
