Napish is a peer-led group supporting people in Aotearoa living with narcolepsy — a rare, lifelong neurological condition that messes with our ability to stay awake, think clearly, and function in a world built for people with steady energy and 9–5 lives.
We know what it’s like to be diagnosed late (if at all), to be misunderstood, and to navigate workplaces, schools and systems that don’t know what narcolepsy actually is. We also know that a bit of practical support — the right words, the right tools, the right card to hand over when your brain won’t co-operate — can make all the difference.
That’s where we come in. We’re building accessible resources, delivering Wake Boxes to those newly diagnosed, producing a national newsletter, and connecting our community so no one has to do this alone. We’re small, but we’re serious — and we’re backed by The Gift Collective to make sure every dollar is well spent.
