What can $10 do?

In America, $10 buys a cup of coffee, maybe a burger.

🎓In the jungle villages of Cameroon, $10 sends a child to school for a whole year.

Yet so many children sit at home, not because they don't want to learn, but because their families, living in extreme poverty, can't find that $10.

That's where we come in.

🌳Deep in the forest, roads are very hard to travel, electricity and clean water are rare, and the nearest hospital can be far away. Children walk for hours through the jungle to reach a classroom.

🛻 Where education is very difficult to reach, Mumzys Children Relief Foundation gets there. Working hand in hand with local communities and leaders, we bring teachers into the villages, pay tuition, provide supplies and uniforms, build wells and toilets, and run a free mobile hospital every year. 📚 Today, 17 schools in more than 40 villages are filled with children who might otherwise have little chance.

🌸 Protecting our girls. Too many girls are promised in marriage when they should be learning to read. We protect them and keep them safe in school. Every year more girls are freed, well over a hundred now live safely in our boarding homes, and more than a thousand girls are going to school.

🚜 A future beyond primary school. Secondary school is rare and too far to walk to, so we built Alpha Trade School, teaching students for a year and a half, with its grand opening in February 2027. Young people learn commercial farming 🌱(cassava, cocoa, palm, plantain, peanuts, corn, potatoes, okra and peppers), 🐓 animal and 🐟 fish raising, 🧵tailoring, 🪚carpentry and 🧱masonry. They learn to dry, grind and preserve their harvest without 🔌 electricity, so it can be sold all year. Using what their own land and environment give them, they lift their families out of poverty, and it's working!

🏡 Right here in Illinois. We care for foster children, orphans, homeless children and children with disabilities. When a house burns down or disaster strikes, they call us, and we show up fast with emergency necessities. At the holidays, we go house to house delivering Christmas gifts🎄 to children who need a reason to smile, and we bring Easter joy 🐣 egg hunts.
