MVCCT has been bringing quality arts education to our community since 1979. Our mission is to educate and develop young artists through theatre arts and creative play. Our vision is to lead in artistic and theatrical excellence within the community, and to provide a nurturing environment to explore storytelling with compassion, wonder, and generosity. We nurture an active imagination, a sense of self-worth, and emotional intelligence through creative play. By empowering our youth, we empower our community. We explore the richness of the human experience through the dramatic arts. We commit to equity, diversity, inclusivity, and accessibility for all. By expanding our awareness, we grow together as a community. We harness innovation and quality through our teaching artists, youth, and programming. By excelling in our art form, we foster growth as artists and as individuals. We work to create an equitable environment where all are encouraged and supported. We advocate for voices that need to be heard, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists. By engaging with our community, we are an active part of the dialogue. We produce three shows a year, two musicals and one drama. We also run 7 weeks of theatrical summer camps through out the summer.
