Miles of Smiles is an outdoor learning provision dedicated to improving the wellbeing of young people, families, and the wider community through nature-based experiences. We provide Forest School sessions, animal-assisted therapy, and a range of outdoor learning opportunities that encourage confidence, resilience, personal growth, and positive mental health.

Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children, young people, and families can connect with nature, develop new skills, build meaningful relationships, and experience the therapeutic benefits of spending time outdoors and with animals.

We offer respite opportunities for families, providing much-needed support and time to recharge, alongside community clubs and activities that bring people together, reduce isolation, and strengthen community connections.

As part of our commitment to giving back, we also volunteer within local nursing homes and schools, bringing the benefits of animal interaction, outdoor learning, and companionship to people of all ages. These visits help promote wellbeing, reduce loneliness, encourage engagement, and create meaningful experiences within the wider community.
