Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue Society is a 100% volunteer-operated non-profit domestic animal rescue in operation since January 2020. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need; to help control the feral cat population; and to provide education to our communities. We are honoured to have been named 2023 Non-Profit of the Year at the Kimberley Business Awards (and a finalist at the Cranbrook Business Awards) and as the 2025 Reader's Choice Best Non-Profit Society in both the Cranbrook and Kimberley communities.

A foster-based rescue, we rely on community members willing to open their homes to temporarily house and love the animals that come into our care, a team of dedicated volunteers, and the financial support of the communities we serve.

Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue is the only registered charity currently conducting TNR work in our region in an effort to help control the feral cat population. All pets adopted from Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, vet checked, and well-loved.

We do not bring animals in from other regions and focus our resources on the local pet overpopulation crisis. We can't do any of this without you.
