Living Channel Services is a registered Canadian charity and nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families, particularly in underserved communities in Rwanda. The organization addresses the social, educational, and economic barriers that often exclude children with disabilities from education, healthcare, and full participation in community life.

Our mission is to create inclusive environments where children with disabilities are valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential, while strengthening families and communities toward long-term self-sustainability. Guided by compassion, dignity, and faith-based values, Living Channel Services works to restore hope, opportunity, and belonging to families affected by poverty and social isolation.

Programs and Impact :

Inclusive Education & Ability Center : Living Channel Services provides access to inclusive and special-needs education through its Ability Center in Rwanda. The center supports children with disabilities through academic learning, life skills development, and individualized support. Our ongoing school expansion project increases safe learning spaces and improves access to quality education for children who would otherwise be left behind.

Family Empowerment & Economic Resilience : The organization operates women-led cooperatives, including sewing and vocational training programs, primarily serving mothers of children with disabilities. These initiatives equip women with practical skills, generate sustainable income, and promote dignity, independence, and family stability.

Health, Nutrition, and Basic Needs Support. Recognizing that a child’s development is closely linked to family well-being, Living Channel Services supports families with access to healthcare, medication, nutrition, hygiene supplies, and essential social support.

Poverty Reduction & Community Development : Through sustainable, community-based initiatives, Living Channel Services helps families move toward long-term self-reliance rather than dependency.

Geographic Reach and Partnerships ; Living Channel Services works closely with local leaders, families, and institutions in Rwanda to ensure culturally appropriate, community-owned solutions. As a registered charity in both Canada and Rwanda, the organization upholds strong standards of accountability, transparency, and stewardship of donor and grant funds.
