The Last Animals Foundation 501(c)(3) raises awareness about wildlife trafficking and the collapse of biodiversity to protect animals from extinction and create a more sustainable planet. We support frontline park rangers who are the guardians of critically-important populations of animals in under-resourced ecosystems and focus on on-the-ground conservation in geographical locations that have been plagued by conflict and insecurity. Whether natural or manmade disasters, animals and their guardians need to be protected. The Last Animals Foundation is the proud fiscal sponsor of Animals Lebanon a Lebanese non profit that improves the welfare of animals through comprehensive national animal protection and welfare legislation. The organization provides nationwide public assistance for companion animals while rescuing and improving the conditions of captive endangered wildlife. Over the past two years Animals Lebanon has been providing critical support to animals caught in conflict, from rescuing domestic animals during airstrikes or translocating trafficked animals to sanctuaries. We are currently fundraising to help bring lions, a tiger, jaguar and bear from an abandoned zoo to a sanctuary in Colorado.
