LEAP (Ladies Empowerment & Action Program) is a transformative nonprofit dedicated to empowering women to rise beyond incarceration and reclaim their futures with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Founded on the belief that every woman deserves a second chance, LEAP walks alongside women at every stage of their journey—from incarceration to independence—through trauma-informed programming, workforce development, and holistic wraparound support.

Inside prison and jail, LEAP delivers intensive, life-changing programming focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, emotional healing, and workforce readiness—helping women build a foundation long before release.

After release, women are met with continued support through LEAP’s Women’s Reentry Hub, where they receive individualized case management, job placement assistance, access to vital documents, and connection to critical community resources. For those in need of stability, LEAP provides safe transitional housing where women can rebuild their lives in a supportive environment.

Through Dragonfly Thrift Boutique, LEAP’s social enterprise, women gain paid, hands-on job training through the Technology and Retail Internship Program (TRIP), developing the skills, confidence, and professionalism needed to succeed in today’s workforce. Many women secure employment within 90 days of release or launch their own small businesses through LEAP’s entrepreneurship programming.

At LEAP, we don’t just prepare women for reentry—we help them rediscover their power. We create spaces where healing happens, confidence is restored, and possibilities expand. Women leave our programs not only job-ready, but equipped with the tools, support, and belief in themselves to thrive.
